Proklesia is the product of Richard Houle’s desire to offer resources to Churches. The name Proklesia is a combination of the prefix “Pro” (in favor of…) and “klesia” (from the ancient greek word “ekklesia”, which means “Church”). Richard Houle has been a pastor in francophone churches in Quebec from 1975 to 2023. His ministry involved mainly teaching, training new pastors and church planting. During his most lengthy mandate, he had the privilege of overseeing 5 church plants while developing a missionary team concept in hopes to birth a church planting movement. His particular interests include the teaching of God’s Word, Teamwork, Prayer, Revival, Cell Churches, Eschatology and Counseling. Having written a few publications in French that have been useful tools in church life, Richard continues to do so and his desire is to make them available to as many churches as possible through this website. If you visit our “BOUTIQUE” page, you will find one English publication. Abundant Life is a one on one twelve week discipleship course that has been translated into English from its original version in French! May God use this tool for His glory!
For several months Richard wrote a blog every two weeks on subjects he is passionate about. It appears in the lower part of our "ACCUEIL" page.
